Sunday Politics Shows Change Lineup in Wake of Trump Tape Disclosure

Sunday’s political talking heads had to scramble as scheduled guests cancelled their appearances in response to the disclosure of a tape in which Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is heard bragging about sexually assaulting women.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager withdrew from her planned appearance on “Fox News Sunday” and NBC’s “Meet The Press.” In her place the former mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani, was slotted in. Giuliani is a huge fan of Trump.

The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Rience Priebus reneged on his appearance on the CBS program “Face the Nation.” Giuliani filled in for him as well. Priebus was also scheduled as a guest on the ABC show “This Week.”

Luckily, Giuliani’s schedule allowed him to fill in this time slot as well.

Both Priebus and Conway are frequent guests on the Sunday morning news program circuit. Priebus repudiated the taped comments made by his party’s candidate for president.
