The latest advertisement from the WMATA is creating quite a buzz. Perhaps this was their intention; perhaps they are actually taking themselves seriously. Whether there is, indeed, a groping problem on the metro is up for discussion – although many would argue that it just gets really crowded and hot in the cars and there’s no way to manage without sharing space.
But now, WMATA has taken it a bit far, threatening people with their “Rub up against me and I’ll expose you” banner ads.
Classy. Very classy.
